Summer break has officially started, and it’s time for summer internships. Every summer that I was in college, I was blessed to participate in a summer internship. After my second year of law school, I had a summer internship as well. I am truly thankful for those experiences and know that they shaped my current work ethic and attire.
Summer internships provide invaluable work experience and give you an opportunity to learn new skills. While your work product during an internship is important, it is also important for you to dress appropriately for your work environment.
If your work environment requires business casual attire, then generally cardigans, dresses, pencil skirts, and dress pants are appropriate. If your work environment requires business professional attire, then generally a work dress or a suit are appropriate.
