Based in Houston, TX, I'm the attorney behind CourthouseCouture. I knew I wanted to be a lawyer back in elementary school, before I really understood what that even meant. Over the years, my experiences — in classrooms, courtrooms, dressing rooms, and everywhere in between — have shaped the woman I’ve become.
I don’t believe we’re meant to choose just one lane. I’m a believer, lawyer, fashion lover, dreamer, and friend. I care about the law and politics. I love clean eating and travel. I get excited about developing my personal aesthetic and staying on a budget. When I share those interests, I’m honoring the unique way I was created — and hopefully inspiring other women to do the same.
CourthouseCouture was born out of a simple realization: in professional spaces, style often gets reduced to “safe” and boring. The examples of professional dress we see in school brochures and career guides rarely feel like real women with real personalities. I created this space to push back on that. Professional attire can be polished and powerful without hiding who you are. A great work look can include a dress that retails for $150 but was snagged at Nordstrom Rack for $20, classic Sam Edelman heels on sale, and a $7 necklace that pulls it all together. It’s not about the price tag; it’s about confidence, intention, and creativity.
Here on the blog, I share how I define my own personal style, how I build outfits that work from courthouse to coffee shop, and how I continue to grow as a professional woman. You’ll find wardrobe inspiration, honest reflections on life as an attorney, and practical tools to help you show up as your best self — inside and out — without blowing your budget.
Thank you for being here and for following along on my journey. I’m still learning, evolving, and figuring it out just like everyone else, and I’m grateful to have you with me along the way.
